We had a wonderful lunch - a really big lunch and then traveled to Torgiano where we are staying in a very old villa.
The villa has been completely remodeled and is a 5 star hotel. The dinner tonight was fantastic and much better than any dinner we had in Rome. Dad had carpacio for appetizer, we both had the saffron and truffle risotto, and beef with a balsamic sauce and veggies. They had a dessert buffet that was wonderful. I was past the point of exploding, but I did manage a delicious ice cream, chocolate covered 'bon-bon' unbelievable!!
Umbria is absolutely breathtaking and I love it! The funny thing is, whatever hotel we are staying in, I manage to get the best room in the place. Tonight my room has a huge jacuzzi bathtub and a balcony, which I'm embarrassed to say no one else seems to have. And I plan on using the tub soon. Tomorrow is the town of Assisi.
